세안 노트 · CLEANSING NOTES
Double cleansing is a two-step evening method: an oil-based cleanser loosens oil-soluble residue such as makeup and water-resistant sunscreen, then a water-based cleanser removes the remaining surface residue. It can be useful, but it does not need to be an automatic rule every night.
When two steps can help
- You wore makeup or a water-resistant sunscreen.
- Your day involved a long commute, city pollution or repeated SPF application.
- You enjoy an oil first step and your skin remains comfortable afterwards.
Step one: loosen
Massage a small amount of First Light Oil-To-Milk Cleanser over dry skin with dry hands. Add water to turn the texture milky, then rinse gently. Give the product time to move across the skin instead of using pressure.
Step two: refresh
Follow with a small amount of Second Bloom Cleansing Foam. Work it between wet hands, massage briefly and rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry rather than rubbing.
When one cleanse is enough
If you wore little product, stayed indoors or your skin feels easily depleted, one well-chosen cleanse may be all you need. More steps do not automatically mean cleaner or healthier-looking skin.
Common signs to edit the routine
A tight after-feel, flaking or discomfort can signal that the water is too hot, the massage is too long, or the second cleanse is unnecessary that evening. Reduce friction first, then reduce frequency.
부드럽게, 짧게, 필요한 만큼만—gentle, brief and only as much as the day requires.
